Vaughn Davis / The Goat Farm

Owner & Creative Director

Vaughn is the owner and creative director of advertising and social media business, The Goat Farm. He has a particular passion for using social media to help businesses connect with people. In 2010, he wrote New Zealand’s first book on social media, Tweet this Book, which has so far had over 25,000 readers worldwide. He also hosts Sunday Social, a weekly programme on Radio Live that talks about social media, apps and the internet.

Vaughn serves on the boards of Arts Foundation crowdfunding platform Boosted and Auckland tertiary institute Unitec, fly’s airplanes and farms goats. He once landed a very big airplane on a floating sheet of ice in Antarctica, but that was ages ago.


Ed McKnight / Hatch

Acquisition and Partnerships Manager

Ed is the Acquisition and Partnerships Manager at Hatch, a company of digital guides who put people first. Hatch guides New Zealand business owners toward a digitally lead future through a mix of automation, web design and app development.

Focusing on human connection is central to Ed and the team’s work at Hatch. They don’t believe in quick fixes or fads. They take the time to get to know their partners and examine problems from every angle, and know the value of relationships.

He is also the President of the Auckland Young Professionals, the founder of the NZ Young Professionals Podcast, and an active member within the Institute of Directors.


David Roberts / Yellow

Chief Sales Officer

David has a solid background in sales, digital marketing and IT. He spent 7 years in London and has worked throughout Europe in senior technology roles. From sales management to marketing and developing new markets and products, David’s been there, and he’s done that.

Before taking on his role at Yellow, David was General Manager of Marketing Alliances, and then Chief Marketing Officer at Fronde.


James Boult / Yellow

Marketing Manager Digital Acquisition

James has polished his passion for media and marketing, having worked with leading global brands such as Cadbury, V Energy and Mountain Dew. He is strategic and creative, and draws inspiration from many years of digital product development as he leads Yellow’s Digital Acquisition and Search Marketing teams.

James loves helping Kiwi businesses bring their vision to life, and to tell their stories in ways they’ve never thought of before.
